Bali to Host Asia’s Leading Film Commissioners
Bali, Indonesia – Asian Film Commissions
Network (AFCNet) aims to make Asia the center of film production for the future, gaining
greater exposure for the region in the world film market.
Founded in 2004 by Film Commissioners from Japan, Malaysia,
Korea, China, Russia,
Vietnam and Indonesia (Bali
Film Commission), AFCNet is a regionally based, full
service, trade organization of industry professionals dedicated to promoting
the region through film.
AFCNet Conference to be held 16-18 June on Bali, is the second time this influential group of film
commissioners meets to discuss common issues in persuading world film
makers to locate more projects in the region.
The AFCNet delegates are accommodated with star rated
service by Bali Dynasty Resort and given
a preview of Bali’s unique filming locations
with Bali Discovery Tours. The Gala
Dinner, held at Four Seasons Resorts Private
Estates, sees a number of dignitaries and celebrities from the entertainment
industry in attendance.

The next AFCNet committee meeting will be held during
Busan International Film Commission Showcase (BIFCOM) at Busan, South Korea
in October 2005.
